Inside Sales / Partner Relationship Specialist

Position Description Overview

The role of Inside Sales/ Partner Relationship Specialist, is responsible for working specifically with our referral partners to increase lead generation, in addition to analyzing merchant statements, generating proposals, and supporting our Partner Relationship Management team in various ways. In this role, the focus will be to continue growth in closing new merchant leads through supporting our partners while upholding existing relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reaching out to merchant leads by phone and ultimately closing all new leads

  • Obtaining new merchant applications and starting the process

  • Working with referral partners to increase production of merchant leads

  • Become proficient in statement analysis to assist PRM team.

  • Master the manual process and improve existing tools in the area of proposal generation.

  • Responsible for keying in applications and working with underwriting to address issues.

  • Be diligent in following up with merchants on open quotes and other inquiries.

  • Build new portfolios and users in our internal system (MX).

  • Manage the case queue and monitor all cases within the response guidelines (SLA times).

  • Serve as liaison between Relationship Management team and Client Services.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Scope of Job

This is primarily an inside sales role that will work directly with referral partners to build the relationships necessary to increase merchant leads. The Inside Sales / Partner Relationship Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service internally and outside the company and building strong relationships across the PRM and Client Services teams to deliver against our partners’ needs.

Autonomy

Once fully trained, this position should require little guidance and supervision from management. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work with a broad network of resources to resolve issues.
